RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF ATHLETES SUPPORT PERSONNEL'S
Besides athletes, Athlete Support Personnel (ASP) play a role in collectively fighting against doping to promote cleaner sports. The World Anti-Doping Code specifies the rights and responsibilities of athlete support personnel and others. The Code clearly outlines the roles and responsibilities that athletes have regarding anti-doping.
- Knowledgeable of and comply with all anti-doping policies and rules adopted pursuant to the Code and which are applicable to them or the Athletes whom they support.
- Cooperate with the Athlete Testing program.
- Use their influence on Athlete values and behavior to foster anti-doping attitudes.
- Disclose to their National Anti-Doping Organization and International Federation any decision by a non-Signatory finding that they committed an anti-doping rule violation within the previous ten (10) years.
- Cooperate with Anti-Doping Organizations investigating anti-doping rule violations.
- Athlete Support Personnel shall not Use or Possess any Prohibited Substance or Prohibited Method without valid justification.
Roles and Responsibilities of Other Persons Subject to the Code
- Knowledgeable of and comply with all anti-doping policies and rules adopted pursuant to the Code and which are applicable to them.
- Disclose to their National Anti-Doping Organization and International Federation any decision by a non-signatory finding that they committed an anti-doping rule violation within the previous ten (10) years.
- Cooperate with Anti-Doping Organizations investigating anti-doping rule violations
